Ravenwood had eight football players, two boys soccer players and one girls soccer player sign letters of intent with colleges Wednesday.

Slot receiver Chris Rowland signed to play football for Tennessee State University.

He led the Class 6A state champion Raptors with 1,042 receiving yards, 818 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on offense (1 pass) this past season. He also returned three punts and three kicks for touchdowns.

Safety Andrew Lutgens signed with Dayton. He was named all-state for the second straight season after he registered 62 tackles and four interceptions.

Kicker Crews Holt signed to play football for Middle Tennessee State. The Mr. Football Kicker of the Year and 6A BlueCross Bowl Offensive MVP connected on 17 of his 23 field goal attempts this past season.

Punter Grayson Linde will join the University of Tennessee football team. He averaged 36.65 yards per punt.

Linebacker Sean Spence signed to play at Carson-Newman. He had 88 tackles and one fumble recovery this season.

Cornerback Nick Harper chose to play football for Missouri State. He had 40 tackles this fall.

Defensive lineman Reggie Walker and H-back Austin Gearlds will play football for the University of the Cumberlands.

Girls soccer player Mackenzie Firek signed to play for Belmont University.

Boys soccer players Danny Barker and Rolando Barker signed with Martin Methodist College.

Ravenwood will hold its signing day ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
