Featured Program of the Week

AARP Drivers Course – Two Day

Class Fee: $15 – AARP Members, $20 – Non AARP Members, Registration Required

Monday and Tuesday

9:15 a.m. — Participants will learn about good driving habits to earn a special discount on their insurance. If a family has two cars, both husband and wife can take the course to get the discount on both cars. There are no tests or homework.

B.A.G. Society (Books Are Good)

Free Program, Registration Required

2:30 p.m. — Do you like reading? Meeting new people? Or (maybe even) both? Whatever you like, you’d be perfect for B.A.G. Club! B.A.G Club is for high school students who wish to tackle summer reading. As a club, we will be reading and discussing books for school as the new year approaches us. Please register for this club only if you are a high school student! If you have any questions, email brentwoodbagsociety@gmail.com.

Tuesday

Flow into Joy Yoga

$5 Class Fee, Registration Required

10:15 am — Join as for a mixed level gentle flow yoga class where we will explore all the elements of a yoga practice — breath, positive affirmations, poses, meditation and relaxation.

Wednesday

Red Cross Blood Drive in Memory of Heather Lanier

11 a.m. — Celebrate life and make a difference by giving blood. This Blood Drive is in Memory of Heather Lanier. To schedule an appointment, log onto redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: CityofBrentwood or call Brigid Day at (615)371-0090 ext. 8510 to reserve your appointment time. Walk-ins are also welcome, but you may have a longer wait time.

4:30 p.m. — Unleash your creativity! Join us for a fun filled afternoon of building your own designs. Bring your imagination and we’ll provide the Legos®! Ages 5-12 Children 5 or under must have adult/parental supervision.

Story Time

Free Program, No Registration Required

10:30 a.m. — Join us for songs, a story, and a simple craft.
