“Mamma Mia!” tells the heartwarming story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. The powerful mother-daughter duo of Donna and Sophie will be portrayed by Erica Aubrey and Emily Urbanski, respectively. The two women already share a real-life connection, as Aubrey is Urbanski’s vocal instructor at Belmont University.

“It feels surreal to be taking the stage alongside Mrs. Erica, and I am so thankful for her guidance every day,” Urbanski said. “Performing in ‘Mamma Mia!’ together is such an incredible learning opportunity that goes beyond the work in our lessons, and I am humbled to be a part of this experience.”

Urbanski is not the only character with whom Aubrey shares a relationship outside of the show. The musical theatre instructor is also cast alongside Miles Aubrey, her real-life husband who plays Sam, Donna’s love interest.  Miles Aubrey is a Broadway veteran and longtime touring musician, and he is currently the music director and lead guitarist for six-time Grammy nominee Brandy Clark.
