Stolen van smashes into Cool Springs gun store, thieves grab weapons

Three suspects are at large after they used a stolen van early Sunday morning to smash into a Cool Springs gun store and stole multiple weapons.

Brentwood Police responded to a burglar alarm on Sunday, Oct. 30, at about 1:32 a.m. According to police, officers arrived at Everything Weapons, 7061 Moores Lane, and discovered that the storefront to the business had been heavily damaged. Officers searched the building at that time, but did not locate suspects.

After reviewing store video, it was determined that three (3) unknown suspects used a vehicle to smash through the front of the store. After gaining entry to the business the suspects, who appear to be wearing heavy clothing and masks, took multiple weapons and fled in the vehicle.

At approximately 3 a.m. the vehicle used in this incident was located parked and unoccupied in front of 520 Brentwood Pointe, just a short distance from Everything Weapons. The Pontiac Montana van was discovered to have been reported stolen in Nashville on Oct. 26.

Multiple weapons were taken in this incident. The exact number will not be known until a full inventory is completed.

A still image taken from store surveillance video was distributed, but police noted that the time stamp on the video image is incorrect.

Detectives continue to investigate this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Brentwood Police at (615)371-0160 or email tips to
