Will Taylor, son of Donna and Joe Taylor, is a senior at Brentwood Academy and this week’s Student of the Week.
He is a member of the wrestling team and enjoys listening to and playing music as well as looking at cars in his free time.
Taylor said his biggest passions are wrestling, music and the field of medicine, which he intends to enter into after high school. From a young age, he said he recalls being interested in the way the human body works and wanted to learn more about anatomy.
In the world of wresting, Taylor is a three-time All-American champion. When he’s not on the mat, he is playing saxophone in BA’s Jazz Band.
One of his biggest role models in life is his grandfather, William Taylor. Taylor said he graduated high school at the age of 16 and fought in Vietnam. He said he was always working hard to provide for his family.
His favorite class is Anatomy, taught by Colonel Bradford. Taylor said science has always been his favorite subject and being able to learn about the basics of how the human body works is exciting.
After graduating this spring, he will start the pre-med track at Williams Baptist University.
