Piper Drazek, daughter of Doug and Danell Drazek, is a junior at Brentwood High School and this week’s Student of the Week.
She is a member of the BHS Volleyball Team and National Honors Society.
Drazek said that one of her biggest passions is setting goals. She said, I am… constantly setting new goals for myself. Whether it’s an academic or athletic goal, a full effort helps me to achieve them.”
Kari Sulcer, Drazek’s guidance counselor, said of her, “Piper just transferred to BHS this quarter. She has acclimated wonderfully. Her grades are great and her teachers report that she works hard and has a good social network. She’s very friendly and welcoming.”
Her top role models are her parents, Doug and Danell. She said she admires them for instilling such a strong work ethic and good values into her and her siblings.
Drazek said that English is her favorite class at BHS. “I enjoy the creative process of writing and the ability to convey a variety of ideas,” she said.
After graduating from BHS, she hopes to attend college where she can continue playing volleyball and pursue a career in law.
