Caroline Kunkel, daughter of Holly and Scott Kunkell, is a junior at Brentwood High School and this week’s Student of the Week.
She is a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team, BHS Choir, Brentwood Theatre Department and Model United Nations. She also enjoys participating in her church’s youth group. For the 2018-19 year, she was also honored with spots on both the Homecoming and Coming Home courts.
Kunkel said her top priorities and passions are her relationships; those with her friends, family and the Lord.
She said, “These things all play a vital part in my life and I don’t know what I would do without them.”
Her biggest role models are her parents, Holly and Scott. “They are sources of constant support and encouragement for me,” she said. “I look up to them for everything and I love them so very much.”
Her choir teacher, Mrs. Pratt, is her favorite teacher at BHS. “Her fun-loving personality has made her class so much fun and she has wonderfully supported my passion for music and singing.”
Pratt said of Kunkel, “Caroline Kunkel is a talented, hardworking and positive student I love teaching. She is always ready to dig in and really work to accomplish goals. Caroline is inclusive, kind and a great leader. I love being her teacher!”
After graduating from BHS, she plans to attend college.
