Studio Tenn is bringing back their one-night holiday spectacle to the Factory at Franklin on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
A Studio Tenn Christmas is being billed as a modern take on the vintage holiday special, and will feature big band and holiday carol classics.
The show will take place on set of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Studio Tenn’s currently running production.
Classics like “O Holy Night,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “White Christmas,” will be performed by talented singers, including Melodie Madden Adams, Libby Black, Bradley Gale, Piper Jones, Laura Matula, Patrick Thomas and Studio Tenn’s Artistic Director Matt Logan.
In a press release, Logan said the concert is returning this year due to popular demand.
“The combination of talent, presentation and artistry that takes the stage for this concert is unlike any other,” Logan said. “The breadth of the Christmas canon allows us to be original with our own twist on the songs, yet still deliver on our audience’s expectations for familiarity and nostalgia.”
Studio Tenn also is encouraging patrons to bring new coats for children ages 6 months to 12 years old. The coats will be donated to Williamson County’s chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), who will distribute them to children in need.
The event begins inside the Jamison Theater in the Factory at Franklin on Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available now at studiotenn.com or by calling (615) 541-8200.
