Both Hands, a faith-based charity that undertakes service projects on behalf of widows, and raises money to help families adopt children, is looking for sponsors for a Saturday service project helping a widow with no living family members.

Volunteers on Saturday will help Teri Wilhelm, who lost her husband in 2012 to pancreatic cancer, clean her gutters, repair drainage issues in her roof, organize storage containers and clean up the front and back yards of her home in Crieve Hall.

The group is looking for sponsors for the clean up, with any proceeds going to Herschel and Lee French of Brentwood, who adopted their first child, Sellers, last year and need help to reach a financial goal that will enable them to qualify to adopt a second child. The Frenches are involved in ministry work at Brentwood United Methodist Church.

The French family will be part of the volunteer team at Ms. Wilhelm’s home.
