Williamson County homes sold in December had an average price of $608,259

The average price of a Williamson County home sold in the last month of 2018 was $608,259, with 60 homes sold in Brentwood, 22 in College Grove, and one in Arrington that sold for $900,000, pulling the average up, according to the Monthly Market Stats report from the Williamson County Association of Realtors.

Based on 409 single family home sales, even the median price county wide was north of half a million dollars: $515,000. That held true in Franklin, where the median price was $500,865 based on 155 home sales, and Nolensville, with a $525,000 median based on 65 homes. Thompson’s Station’s median was 409,425 based on 28 homes, and Spring Hill’s was $368,794 based on 54 home sales.

Among counties, Davidson County was a distant second in Middle Tennessee average price in December, with $370,682 based on 985 home sales. In Rutherford County, 461 homes were sold, averaging out at $268,467.

One year ago the average sale price in Williamson was 601,437 based on 451 sales, and the median price was $497,639.
