Witherspoon, a luxury new-home community in Brentwood surrounding the historic Holtland/Wildwood mansion, has just released Section 5, which includes 17 new homesites, as well as the addition of three builders to its Builders’ Guild.
“The brisk sales we’ve experienced in the last two years in the $1 million to $3 million price range gave us the confidence to release this new section of homesites,” said Mike Ford, co-developer of the property and owner/president of Ford Classic Homes. “The abundance of traffic and sales we’ve had in the First Quarter indicates that 2019 should be another strong year.”
The new section of 17 homesites, ranging in size from ¾ to 4 acres, includes eight builder-owned sites, 5 sites that are available for sale to the public and 4 yet-to-be assigned sites that will either be sold to builders or individuals. All homesites that are sold to private individuals come with the condition that the homes must be built by a member of the Witherspoon Builders’ Guild. Three new members have been added to the Builders’ Guild – Davis Properties, Insignia Homes and Woodridge Homes. The new builders join Barlow Builders, Castle Homes, Ford Classic Homes, Legend Homes, Schumacher Homes, Stonegate Homes and Turnberry Homes who have all been with the community since its opening in 2017. Additionally, Aspen Construction was added as a member in 2018.
“In addition to the new wooded homesites in Section 5, we have several sites and speculative homes available in previously released sections of the community,” said Rob Pease, partner with CPS Land, the co-developer of Witherspoon. “We have some very unique homesite opportunities at Witherspoon beyond the traditional lot type, including a 3-acre homesite with access directly to Crockett Rd. and three remaining 3-acre, wooded ridgetop sites.”
When complete, Witherspoon will be comprised of 153 luxury home sites on 263 acres. The community, located adjacent to Crockett Park along Crockett Rd. in Brentwood, was formerly a portion of the historic, 1500-acre Wildwood Plantation.
